Partnership with the National Social Security Fund

The University of Nairobi ([Department of Sociology and Social Work) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of institutional partnership with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) in February 2012.

The Department Launches Anti Corruption Hotline and Email Account

The Department of Sociology and Social Work has launched an Anti Corruption Hotline and Email account for reporting any form of corruption practices within the Department.  This is one of a number of strategies developed to ensure a corruption free Department.

Introduction

The Department is one of the largest in the Faculty of Arts. It offers a wide range of market-oriented programmes which have proved to be quite popular among students in the Faculty. Candidates wishing to enrol in the Department must meet the minimum University of Nairobi and Faculty of Arts admission requirements.
