CS of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Amina Mohammed Addressing Students
The Department of Sociology on 22nd March 2016 hosted the CS of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Amina Mohammed. On her public lecture to the Students, the Cabinet Secretary noted that the youth are the engine that powers the Kenyan economy.
She urged the students to work hard and make Kenya great despite the challenges in the country. She encouraged students to march forward with confidence because Kenya is a great nation. The CS noted that Kenya had made great gains towards combating terrorism which is a global problem. The University is mandated to produce holistic graduates, and it is in this Endeavour that various departments invite public figures to interact with the students.
